Hi My riva combi has stopped, wont ignite, and all the thee information lights show flashing (ignition failing ) The lock out light is also flashing and pressing it wont reset.
Turning on and off results in the same after a fan start noise.
The igniters and obvious have been checked and cleaned (water pressure, flue clear, drain clear, no loose wires, igniters not cracked. etc.
There is no spark on ignition due to lock out. but the lock out wont reset. I now suspect a PCB fault.
Is substituting new PCB the only way of finding out if that's the case?
Can PCB be checked?, are there any voltage or resistance checks? can the ignitor unit be checked?
Has anybody changed a PCB on a Riva. The board ref BI2015 105 can be exchanged for about £70 or bought for £120 on line.
Is there anyone near Blackburn lancs interested in doing a repair and quoting a price?
