Sabre 25 he Combi fault

I have been to a sabre 25he combi with no heating or ho****er today and when trying to start the fan pump starts fan comes on but the aps doesnt click so had a look inside and tried it with the case off and aps clicks and boiler ignites and stay on ,so with air supply in mind cleaned the tubes blew and poked through the venturi checked the flue (standard horizontal straight to the outside 2nd floor nothing growing around it) all look good so going to change the aps tomorrow even though it works when the case is off,i would welcome any other suggestions as this has got to be one of the tightest landlord,are these rebadged and if so who makes them.

You need to take the venturi out and clean it properly.

They are a rebadged vokera boiler.

Thanks are these easy enough to take out and is this a common fault.

Yeah very common and takes all of 10 mins to get the venturi out and cleaned and back in. Just undo the screw on either side of flue hood at the back and slide the whole lot forward with the fan on, only need it 3 inches forward to be able to get at the venturi.
