Was asked to replace APS on Saunier-Duval-Thema-Classic-F24e boiler as the pump and fan were running but the boiler would not go to ignition, replaced APS still no joy, did usual checks to APS and found that when i reset the boiler the fan would run but as soon as the APS detected the pressure the stepper motor on the gas valve would make a clicking sound and then the fan would stop and the boiler shut down, also checked for power at Gas valve which is present however solonoid does not click, the boiler does not attempt to spark and fire.

Any ideas?

Just an update, we spoke to technical today and after testing armed with a multimeter determined that the gas valve was not faulty and the PCB needed replacing
