Hi, bit of a strange one but my overflow pipe drips now and then which goes to my f and e (small) tank in the loft but when I go up there and look at the tank the water level is no where near the overflow, any ideas.?? Thanks.

Hi, no other pipes go to that overflow and what ever temperature the level is no where near the overflow.. Always seems to do it this time of year when the heaters are on, I know it sounds daft but when the water in that tank gets warm and it’s cool outside would that cause it to drip.?? Thanks

Hi, that’s what I was thinking like condensation, that’ll probably explain why if put the lid on the tank and cover it up it will drip a tiny bit each day but if I leave the lid on loose and don’t cover it it’ll drip a tiny bit every couple of weeks.
