Im in Bournemouth and will subbie if you are desperate, booked up till February thou. This is before the weather gets ****ty. Tell me about stress. Just keep head down and get on with it.
I thought there were a few good ones there (I agree there were a fair few dodgy ones as well).
If you're familier with the local area and the engineers maybe you could try and help southcoastboile out as you seem to be knowledgeable about the local area in Bournemouth (I was only there for a brief time).

You're probably right, it's a big ask to know everything in the trade and still be fit enough to work all day on installs and then do a couple of breakdowns on the way home to search for your next install work!
I never really liked the idea of specialising in one area but as times goes on and the trade is asked to know so much it seems a lot easier to pick an area of expertise and stick to that.
Maybe to solve your popularity problem (Southcoastboile) you should increase your prices if you are in demand, should pay you what you're worth and solve your stress problem.
The more guys you take on will only give you different stress's IMHO.

I've always wondered about the things people ask for in job adverts.
Is there anyone out there thinking, "Well, I live in Dorset, and I am a gas engineer, and I really need a job, but to be honest, my pipework is a bit slapdash, so I better hadn't apply"
And all those other stupid requirements "must be a team player" or "good communication skills essential".
Do people sit at home thinking, "can't apply for those jobs then, because I am clearly a weirdo loner with no social skills"

Same here and yes very true about taking people on the stress multiplies exponentially !
