Strap on boss failed - HELP!!!

My Mrs said get our plumber to do it I thought I'd give it a crack, obviously haven't told her it's leaking. Quite happy doing it gives me an excuse to get away from the kids!

57mm hole saw is the correct size for every strap on boss ive ever fitted. Its also the correct size for the hole in the back of inset gas boxes not that you care LOL.

Got the bosses off today without too much trouble. If 57mm hole is ok not sure what the problem was. Does anyone have a preferred boss make? I find the aquaflow ones don't have much of a lip to sit inside the 4" pipe. I'll get some more and have another crack, I'll get some polypipe cement gap filler to as a backup plan!

Just make sure both surfaces are as clean and smooth as possible glue fitting and pipe and lock it up as fast as possible. I even try and push them against the pipe aswell that first minute is essential.

I glue the strap as well. Not sure if im only one to do this
