Will do, thanks. The white plastic outer of the flow meter does twist round, but it only seems like this is spinning around the glass vial. It does not seem to screw anything down that would close the circuit.

hmmmm. you should be able to turn it somehow cos thats how you balance it or isolate, not sure bud. does the white part pull off ( be carefull pulling them around though)

Yeah, it comes off. It's only a plastic outer with flow rate readings printed on it.

Flow meters jammed? Does red bit move up or down slightly when pump goes on or off? Try it with one circuit open and the rest closed.

The red bit does jump slightly when pump goes on/off. Could the system need balancing hence the reason I am not getting my rooms up to temperature?

Could well be the stats are they normal roomstats with numbers or do they have a light but no numbers ( the latter usually are set to a max temp thats only adjustable from inside it)

Stats seem to be operating ok. They're Horstmann Centaurstat 7 programmable digital room stats.

Have had a few out already, none of which have come up with a solution. Can't seem to find any UFH specialists/engineers in my area.
