Hi all, just discovered this forum and so far it seems to be full of answers to most of my questions.
I've just about finished my conservatory and whilst I was building it I put underfloor heating pipes into the floor. So now I'm ready to connect it up. The question is, do I need a mixer manifold? I have run 10pm copper pipe ready for it and the ufh is 15mm pex barrier pipe, the pipes in the floor are laid into concrete with insulation underneath. If I run it off the boiler I'm guessing it will get to hot and crack the concrete. Is there something I can fit inline to the feed that won't let the water through unless it's below say 50 degrees?

Thanks, that looks like what I need. Can't see any prices on that link?
As I've only got 1 loop of pipe, would it be a single port that I need or 2 port?

different manufactorers word things differently but with speedfit you require a 1 port, which will have a socket for the flow and a socket for the return (make sure you connect them up the right way as the flow should be the pipe going round the outside of the room where there is the greatest heat loss). there are other manufactorers about that will have similar products but speedfit has always worked well for me. im not sure on prices, ring a local merchants but id be expecting too pay anywhere from £200 - £300

I see there's a few on eBay that seem to be the right thing, there going for £185 buy now.
