Unvented Hot water storage test

Hi new to the forum, Im sitting this test in a few weeks and was told some of it was open book and some closed book? Has anyone out there done this and could fill me in on it?

i did my UVHWSS exam today, it was far from easy! It was with CITB, it had 3 theory exams, 2 open book, 1 closed book, 1 fault diagnosis exam, 2 practical exams 1 servicing 1 commissioning. I felt it was cramed into 1 day where 2 days would have been better.

Well just back from doing the tests! what a week! very informative though even though Ive never been a theory and test type person, But the practical was good. I didnt find it too hard really once I got into it. Mine was CITB aswell 11 closed book, 18 open book and 8 open book, followed by fault finding practical and comissioning. This one lasted over a 3 day period, First day was all classroom.
