Van needed

View the thread, titled "Van needed" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

I had two Nissan primastars ! Very nice when they work , the gear box ( £3500 @ 60,000 miles plus) slave cylinders, master cylinders, turbo , cluches, all within 80,000 miles .

If I have to install boilers etc, I get them delivered by suppliers, saves on fuel and back strain!

was not so much thinking of that, pts will deliver were ever i ask them to,thinking more of the extra kit you have to carry

Ive got a Vivaro 09 Plate, Nice drive but noisy when driving at speed. Not had any hassle apart from an electrical fault which was fixed under warranty. Ive had a few vans/4x4 in past jobs. Transporter is nice but pricey, Mercedes Vito is nice too again a bit steep. Wouldn't touch a Mitsubishi 4x4 again, had 2 and both blew cylinder heads around 100000 miles. Best 4x4's IMO are Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger, Only downside is the space in the back of a 4x4 doesn't compare with a white van!

i have had loads of vans ,cars 4x4s etc, you cannot go wrong with toyota , i have a transporter and cannot fault it to be honest, the caddy is a cracking van like driving a car, i would seriously steer clear of land rover range rover as they are not reliable IMHO
