After crawling round a loft all day sweating go called out to an emergency call out leak on a lead main where a contractor had broke the lead with his jcb,

After viewing the burst and eventually getting the stopcock to turn off in the street I spent 45 minutes in the merchants trying to get a universal transition coupler as they kept trying to just give me leadlocks I eventually got what I needed and got back to the job,

Made my repair and turned the water on to look down the hole and there's water passing everywhere,
Took the fitting apart and it had came with one of the parts in the fitting the wrong way round, so after getting muddy and wet I got it all back together leak free,

Then the cheeky...... paid me but thought he could cut the price by £4 so paid me £80 instead of the £84 I charged him I wasn't happy after getting wet and muddy.

I'd love to up my pricing but theres too many people doing everything on the cheap, its ridiculous

The merchants for 45 but I was also collecting other materials for different jobs and then 15 minutes to fix the leak
