I would be working on charging out at over £30 per hour or £240 a day these days if you want to make a decent wage. Plus VAT on top if you are registered.

Would be nice price for labour onlyMay be a question you don't want answer, thats fair enough if so.
Im looking to take over running a company in swale area of kent that are gas safe registered, this will open me up to taking on gas work. At the moment they seem to be very cheap, but i may be over estimating what GSR engineers / companies charge.
Their average charge for a regular boiler straight swap is around £1100 - £1200 + vat, for a combi swap add around £100.
Regular system to a combi charges are £1500 - £1800 depending on complexity.
Dd these prices seem well under or fair?
Gas work is something i don't get involved in really, other than passing on the work so I'm not too clued up.
thanks.
£240 a day is too cheap surely? You'd get that subbing to some firms.I would be working on charging out at over £30 per hour or £240 a day these days if you want to make a decent wage. Plus VAT on top if you are registered.
