Hi all,

I've had the busiest week I've ever had this week. 7 bathroom quotes accepted in one week which is good on one hand but very stressful as I am running around like crazy sorting everything out for them. I've had to contact one of the customers and ask to move his appointment on Friday twice now. The response I got has ****ed me off a bit: -

'Hi Keiran,

I’m getting a bit ****ed off at playing to your agendas – 9 am is too early for me if you want to turn up at any time after about 10:30 then OK or else we can reconsider this arrangement .

Best wishes'

Not really used to getting responses like that. Is it a warning sign that if he gets that ****ed off by this we should do a runner before we start his bathroom in your opinion? My gut feeling is telling me to reconsider this arrangement to be honest lol. Each time I've emailed him before hand to let him know. Both times I've had cancellations on Friday and had to try and reschedule my day as best as possible.

Or am I being overly sensitive and should I just suck it up and crack on with his job lol. Don't want to work for another idiot that's all.

If you have had to move his appointment twice, then I can understand that he is getting a bit peeved.

Best suggestion is to stop using email or text, and actually talk to him, and explain in person.

Fair point. That's why I asked on here. Going to meet him tomorrow morning to finalise his bathroom and will explain/apologise then.

Nah I have an appointment at 10am and he was booked in for 11am originally. I had someone cancel a job I had booked in for 8am so was hoping to move him to 9am and have an hour lie in. Never mind. As always, the customer is right! Grin and bear it and will take his cash on completion.

Working day will start at 8am as always, will just do some admin or paperwork first.

Why is 9.00am too early for him? If its because he's in bed then bugger him lol!

I often when booking in jobs get custards ask if I can start around 9.30 / 10.00 etc & it can often leave me with dead time in the morning Grrr!!
