I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Earth pins mate. Holding the insulation in place. After 9 years would be surprised if they weren’t down to little stubs.

My power washer is the 8 litre one H not super powerful but ideal for these jobs and controllable no need to use the customers water .

You just pick it up mate as you go along I did a few manufacturers courses you just get to know the faults on certain boilers, it's often a process of elimination the flow charts in the manual along with the fault codes , it's worth learning how to use a multimeter property aswell , you tube is also useful if you're struggling and as a learning aid . Regards Kop

I’m chilling here this weekend. Lovely weather this morning.

Does the filling loop bolt straight onto the sprayer handle or is there a fitting/fittings you use?
No mate remove the standard Lance what these come with the attach a piece of clear polythene tube with a jubilee clip , the connection to the filling loop or rad is a short length of 15 mm pipe warm the ploythene tube insert the tube again fit a jubilee clip then adapt to suit your application. Cheers kop 😉

Thanks, that should save some time on some jobs. Will have a riffle through of my boxes of tubing from my fish keeping days at the weekend, should have something in there that would be do the trick.

A bathroom modification for a elderly gent with a dodgy ticker, believe it or not I installed this 17 years ago when it was first built , I can't believe it was so long ago removed the bath, tiling ect and found loose plasterwork and cement render which had to come off revealing a couple of nasty cracks. These were ground out the whole wall sealed with SBR and repaired with Fisher resin the area was then dot and dabbed with new plasterboard , formed a new boxing to house the first fix shower pipework again plasterboarded ready to fit Multipanel later on , now have a 5 day break so till later chaps 😁😁. Kop
