I brought the earlex combi vac a year ago just to use to suck the last bit out of rads when changing valves etc
was good for a couple of jobs then started leaking from the joints so took it back and spoke to earlex they make then 5 mins from my house the tech guy sent me free of charge a filter that can be used for wet and dry this again was fine for a couple of jobs and is now leaking again!!

spoke to the tec and am going there with my vac to show them

And ill back the previous posters up dont get a £50 Karcher that is rubbish holds sod all water and sprays out all over the place

from what others have said I think its got to be a George or henry or a vax

Buy a vac king from machine mart (£60), seal the hose to tank joint with ptfe tape and it never leaks. Mine last about a year removing around 20 litres of water, sh!te and scale a day. Nice easy clean stainless steel tank and only spits foam out of the exhaust when the customer has put a bottle of bleach down the loo. Best wet vac on the market.

Got one of the original Vax 121, UK made ones, had it for years. They just don't build them like that anymore (I've replaced the bearings on the motor even to keep it going). Vax now are imported rubbish.
