Hi

Have had a couple of people out to look at replacing our old boiler and think we have chosen a gas safe installer we are happy with.

We have a 4 bedroom house. 10 radiators and 3 shower rooms and are replacing an old Baxi Bahama 100. Aware we can only use one shower at a time but want to ensure we get something both man enough for the job but not too beefy!

We have been recommended either the Worcester Bosch Greenstar i24 or the CDi34

We cant change the gas supply in so are trying to work within the confines of our current infrastructure.

Aware its a decision we will hopefully live with for a while but there's a difference of opinion between us which we should opt for so thought id find out what you thought!

Well the cheapskate in the family spoke to the fitters and I was given these as the suitable options. We are kind of on the cusp from what I was reading the 24 said up to 10 radiators and the 34 said 15 and up. My main concern is will we get a decent shower as they are all running off the boilers, we gave up on electric showers years ago (luckily we all shower at different times of day

It will not be difficult to improve on the baxi bahama. Likewise the 34CDi is a combi and may involve resizing gas supply pipe as said by Shaun. The 24i system boiler matched to unvented cylinder will be more expensive but worth the extra cost.

We have an elderly disabled tenant living in the annex - ideally we don't want to dig up her floor!
