worcester 30cdi heating but no hot water?

hi, got a call yesterday regarding a worcester 30cdi, has heating but no hot water? am i right in thinking diverter valve? more of an install guy so this is new to me, should i get involved? cheers

have you checked its making contacted with the micro switch and checked the micro switch itself
