I have a Worcester Bosch Heatslave 20/25 oil burning boiler - It was installed in or around 2004.

I have had the heat exchanger replaced, and the expansion vessel, and a few other bits;

but I'm wondering what the normal service life of a boiler should be?

Is it past its ‘sell-by date’?

Thanks for reading

cheers

Surprisingly tough boilers those Worcester Bosch heatslaves despite their list of parts and at 12 years old it isn't ancient. But who knows if boiler will leak, or lots of expensive parts need replaced.
I prefer ideally to have a heat only oil boiler and an unvented cylinder, if all suitable. Less complex and value for money and good flow rates where possible

Plainly I'm new to this, and appreciate the assistance - However, for some reason that I don't understand - the replies I've made to both the above comments do not appear in the thread? am I getting something wrong? cheers
