Has anyone worked in Europe? Do you know what you need to provide in order to work as a heating engineer?

Hi there, I could give you some help. If you want to work as a heating engineer it would be very helpful and so much easier for yourself if you took your certifications for all kinds of plumbing. Without certificates it will be quite difficult. It is relatively easy to join a company as they are always on lookout for good engineers. If you are looking to become a heating engineer I think it’s not difficult either to find a company to join as apprentice. However, it also depends on which city and what you really want to achieve. The work in Germany is totally different and a lot more ahead than England. I am sorry but that’s the truth it seems like England is 20 years behind.Has anyone worked in Europe? Italy uses a lot of steel pipework. Theoretically, that's in the UK's NVQ, but my own college was quite lax on steel pipework, as the teacher wasn't very good, or very experienced, with it herself and mostly used copper in her own work, like most of us. EDIT - sorry, just realised I'm going off topic.
We recommend City Plumbing Supplies, BES, and Plumbing Superstore for all plumbing supplies.
