Hi All - First post,
I'm an electrician that has been asked to connect the wiring up for a UFH system he has installed himself. His current system is an open vented Y plan with pump overrun from the boiler.
He would like the UFH to be controlled seperatley from the existing rads. The UFH is in a garage conversion where the bolier is also located.
I'm trying to establish 2 things. A) he has installed the UFH correctly for his needs. B) a wiring diagram for the electrical connections.
His install includes a manifold and pump located under the boiler. A 2 port valve close to the boiler in the roofspace above. I'm no plumbing expert, but it looks as though he has connected into the system on the main flow and return.
I've had a quick trawl about, and it seems Y plan is not the most suitable for his needs?
Could someone tell me if it looks like he has installed this correctly? If so, does anybody have a wiring diagram?
Any help appreciated - thanks
