I need to fit a couple of radiators in a property. The only issue being the skirting is about 400mm high and don't want the radiators looking ridiculously high. They don't want the skirting cut to accept the brackets.
So the question is, what brand of standard radiators have brackets highest up...
Hi guys, I'm sure this isn't unsual to you, but as 90% of the radiators in my home have 15mm valve fittings on both sides (flow and return) it is a little confusing for me.
Around 15 years ago a couple of radiators were installed in a loft extension and I'm currently trying to unblock the pipes...

Hi guys,
I have a Viessman Vitodens 100 heat only open vent boiler that was fitted around 4 years ago.
It has been serviced when required and overall runs great and very efficient.
However, at the end of last year we had an extension built and the flue had to be extended around 2 meters...
I guess this is going to be an airlock problem but I have tried to deal with it and I am getting nowhere.
I have two rads at the end of the heating run and they get cold when others around the house are hot. Even though we live in a bungalow we do have a loft conversion with two rads upstairs...
HOMEFIX UK???
I've just been offered a contract with Homefix UK. It includes a substantial upfront payment. Have any of you out there had any dealings with this company. I'm thinking this might be to good to be true
I had a new Atag 35+ Economiser fitted in May with an outdoor weather sensor and using the Atag Zone controller with it.
So far it's been doing what I expect and reducing the flow and return so that the boiler is condensing.
Now we're getting colder weather, I can't seem to get the house to be...

Background - I'm a DIYer but am comfortable with draining down systems, adding radiators and using flux and solder etc.
So I've inherited an old system in our house with a 28mm old-style MagnaClean on the return. Both isolation valves are knackered (common fault the internet tells me!) so I've...
Hello,
I thought I’d try fitting a shower pump today. Every thing works, other than the pump just fires water up the vent pipe and into the tank in the attic.
i don’t know where this vent pipe has come from as there isn’t one coming off the top of the cylinder.
Hi, Hoping someone can help me out, I'm stuck. I have a Camray 5 boiler, which will fire up and burn fuel for around 10-20mins, no heat to the radiators although I have an initial burst of hot water (10-20mins). I have changed the pump, this week, changed the thermostat about 10 months ago...
The push button on the wall for my toilet no longer works. It pushes in but does not flush the toilet. I can flush manually by pushing down in the cistern - photo attached. I have checked the tube from the button leading to this and there does not appear to be holes.
Anyone know what the fix may...
Hi all,
The radiator has fallen off a wall on one side - the screw into the wall seems to have been into the mortar rather than the brick and come out (see Pic1).
Attached are the ends either side of the radiator - my question is, will I be able to isolate and drain this radiator myself? If...
