Basically at the weekend I'm fitting a sink of the bowl and a half type but I need a trap that will have provisions for washing machine and a dishwasher waste. Can anyone recommend any as I can't seem to find something that will work. Thanks

you can buy a sink p trap with spike on it before the trap to accommodate one then get a self tapping washing machine spike do the other. which is tapped into the waste pipe after the trap ( they have a non return valve to stop smells)..Google them theres all sorts out there.

cheers for that

McAlpine one is brilliant & lovely quality. It is telescopic - so handy for a couple of inches or more height adjustment. Get it with the two bent tails for the washing machine & dishwasher. Use jubilee clips on the hoses just incase they get pulled off.

I usually use 2 separate traps, one normal 'P' or bottle trap and one with 2 spigots for washer/dishwasher wastes and join them with normal fittings and pipe. Works out cheaper and you can arrange them to get more space in the cupboard. whatever you do, don't use the ones that come with the sink (B&Q etc) They're absolute carp!!

Went with the sk1a and will definetly use them again. Impressed.

One thing though the nut on the long piece that went onto the grating didn't fit onto it. Hard to explain but the bit the washer goes on seemed too thick
