Not especially vital but never seem to see them anywhere.

Toilet handles where this bit...

Is sort stepped or S shaped. See them in some cisterns and ones like above won't fit, usually the cistern is small and the syphon is too near the handle. I usually end up cutting part of one of the above off but looks a bit bodged. They might have a special name which is why I can't find them

Also flexi monobloc tap connectors that end in a half inch bsp connection. When tap tails come with taps they always end with those connections and yet the only ones you can buy end in compression or push fit.

there on the bits n bobs counter in build centres , blue packets picked a few up today to put on vans , always handy

as bod said on the trade counters or toolstation or plumbfix

I guess you're both talking about the flexi's...good to know thanks.

Anyone seen those WC handles anywhere? Just would be good to have one on the van.

i'd love to know where you can buy these. i was just thinking the same as you this morning whilst fitting a tap, would have been a nice easy job if i hadnt had to remove the sink to get the tap off. LOL

the flexis that come with the taps that have the bsp fitting on the end are so designed to to get you to comply by connecting them onto iso valves, at least thats what i was told, but theres another debate about whether this is appropriate depending on whether the iso's have a coned or squared face

NO im on about the handles WT

Ah...ok. Thanks.

When I start seeing some that have leaked after a few weeks/months/years and the only reason I can find might be because they were on a coned bush I'll stop doing it but so far they seem to work fine for me. I suppose if they were installed under strain a coned face might be the final straw.

there one of those things logic tells you wont work but it seems it does.in the past we had trouble with similar fittings on some imported brassware and the coned ends cut the washers maybe the washer matierial has improved over the years
