Guys , your thoughts please .

i want to dump the house PC ( sick of the problems with it ) I am interested in one of the many apps available , gas engineer software, van cert , master gas. Etc etc.
Do any of you use any of these to run your businesses ? I need one mainly for invoices and data bases and maybe acounts packages , not particularly all the different certs.

Thank you

Gas engineer has both Certs and invoicing. But I use that and invoice2go. My bookkeeper is copied in by email to each invoice, so makes that bit easier.
It's better than a dedicated accounts program for me, as you don't leave a trail if you make a mistake.

I use gas engineer for invoices and certs. Xero for accounting ( although this can do invoices as well ). Also use receipt bank linked with xero just photo my invoices or forward them on and it tallies with xero so all files and no missed payments

Hi I was wondering if anyone is using any of the apps for invoicing.
Being a one man band, I want something that's not going to take me a month to learn how to use!

I tried Gas Engineer Software but found it confusing - like putting up IKEAb shelves lol without the instructions. Kind of work p works but always a few screws left over. Not sure I want to carry on.
I see there's a new one... Powered now. Anyone use this one yet?

I've used Gas Engineer Software, but found it hard to use on laptop and tablet - android. Seemed to duplicate and I found it hard to find a list of jobs, also little things like trying to correct mistakes or change numbers of invoices made for a stressful couple of hours!!

Used BaseTax for accounting free and seems OK .. Still have to input all receipts n stuff. Guy is quick to answer any questions and help by email or online chat box thingy.

Also have used my own spread sheet - Excelland Openoffice - PDF invoice/estimate template.
Which has worked well. Better than all of the above but it has got a bit messy now and is hard to keep up without duplicating when saving to external drive.

It's blinking frustrating
