hi all.my neighbours baxi combi 105he fan/flue light has started flashing.iv took the cover off and the fan and pump are going up on demand for hot water and central heating, but it wont fire.there is no ticking from the main burner just the fan and pump going.iv checked the ventury pipes and they are not blocked as when i blow and suck down them i can here the switch flicking.checked the flue and all is good and i the condensate is piped to an internal drain and its been fairly warm today.looked at the condesate trap and that is also clear.im pretty sure iv checked everything else before buying a fan but wanted to check i havnt missed anything.also even though i can hear the pressure switch switching, could this still be the fault??thanks in advance

Air pressure switch, just because it's clicking doesn't mean it's working. The aps is usually the culprit. Besides if your wrong with the pcb it's an expensive mistake compared to an aps.

ok ill give that a go before looking at a fan then.sould i test it on the aps or where it goes on the pcb because the aps and is near enough behind the fan so will be quiet hard to get to with multimeter

DO NOT change the PCB, They are pretty safe on the HE version, Get a Gas Safe Engineer to fit a 5137530

better still, get of the open forum and in to the gas safe forum to diagnose.

dont want to encourage 'have a go hero's' do we 🙂

Any gas? 🙂 ............. pull one of the wires to the condensate and see what happens? DON'T LEAVE OFF AS A FIX!!!!!!!! Let's you know where the problem lies only IMO!!! If the case may be 🙂

Usually brings up the flame failure led though doesn't it? Usually the APS at fault on these.
