I am in the middle of my training. I do appreciate peoples comments and help on this forum. I also understand some views on training without doing an apprentice course as I know there is a lot to learn. I trained as a HVAC Engineer with Taymech some years ago and did quite a time on the tools fitting aircon systems in commercial offices in Liverpool Street, although I was generally office based. I have spent the last few years in senior management in various industries as well as property developing in between. I have decided to bite the bullet and get a trade in something I enjoy doing, although I know some plumbers dont like the book reading and 5 weeks of practical side of what I am doing! I will train with experienced plumbers where I can and I am really looking forward to the day when I can hang up my 'Commercial Directors' hat and get my tools out and get stuck in !! :smile5:
