Although I don't think anyone could fill the shoes of Ronnie Barker to play the role of Fletch, and there seems to be a dearth of scriptwriters able to write such dry and witty comedy these days - it's mainly: 'in your face' American slapstick "humor" that seems to dominate now.

The Fall Guy for obvious reasons, I've been catching the odd repeat lately and it's terrible. Loved it as a kid, wanted to be a stuntman when I grew up. And get that exact same shed Colt Seavers drove. Used to think my neighbour's mechanic dad was cool because he was the spit of Colt. Yep, Colt this, Colt that, he was my hero.
