HI can i pick some brains please....... I've got a loft conversion which was completed a few years ago which is one bedroom and a separate storage room which Is now wanted to be converted into a shower room.
The roof is pitched and studed off down the length of the rooms so there is a crawl space either side and the length of the rooms.
The storage/shower room is at one end and I'm trying to work out the waste from toilet basin and shower.
It is a three storey property and there is a stack that serves two bathrooms on lower levels which vents in the crawl space in the loft conversion.
It is 4-5 meters away from the proposed shower room.
So my questions are is it possible to use this stack?
Am I doing anything wrong connecting all this via the top of it?
Can I connect this room to the top of the stack and put an air valve on top of that?
I have from the top of the joists (where it vents) to the height of the back of the toilet for the fall but how would I support the pipe height in the crawl space for this fall?
And best way to waste these three appliances together?
Have thought about a saniflo but in my experience they are not a great idea.

Any thought appreciated thanks

Hi coybro

what water system have you got to run supplies up there?

if its pressurised unvented then your ok, if not where is the storage tank?

i have converted my 3 story to a 4 story. Master bedroom with en suite. Loft had two stacks one in a corner the other in middle down one side, lots to consider here, will respond more fully when I get the chance
