If there is a known occupant/buyer/tenant for the property then they need to contact the supplier and either arrange a prepayment to credit meter swap or obtain a gascard and put credit on the meter.

Other than that ,you could leave new boiler disconnected ,label it as requiring commissioning and come back when the gas is on

The bypasses sold on ebay are being manufactured for the nefarious purpose of encouraging people to steal gas. They are not bona fide pieces of equipment.

Abstraction of gas other than via a meter is theft of gas.

all yer have to do is ring up trasco, tell them that you have only just moved into house and have not gas for hw/heating and that you have children. They will be out in a few hours and give you £5 free

"transco" dont respond to calls to meters. Meters belong to meter asset managers and calls for meterwork must be routed through the gas supplier. "transco" front end only responds directly to gas emergency calls.
