Was today at a public showroom djust finishing off some plumbing, when another plumber turned up to do what i would class as catering /commercial which i am not.Firstly the pipe supply is 35 mm which goes back to commercial meter which wasnt disconnected or even turned off. The op had turned off nearest lever valve to area he was working and then soldered quite happily away altering new pipework,Secondly he never had catering and i would class this as catering as its a commercial kitchen ,so am i wrong in presuming catering ticket not needed??
Lastly been on enough big sites to have idea how to purge commercial gas as in big box out side with hose , this never happened on purge with this guy just case of turning nearest lever back on
My personal opinion is that it went against everything i have been taught and probably should be reported but what you guys think??.
