Friends
Had a jo9b today to fix a leacky toilet, close coupled kind.
Bolts & wing nuts all rusted, nightmare, wanted to walk but gotta do it, very little space to manouvre, got the angle grinder out of the box, all new, sparks everywhere, hard to see what was going on, persevered and cut a bit of the wing nut off, got a small hack saw and went at it, 15 mins of cutting i got the grip on it and it came off, the other side took half hour as couldnt get the angle grinder in there,
Took the toilet apart, mustve been a tube of silicone on the bottom.
Did what I had to do.
Very happy.
One question, i bought an ideal standard donut washer but the coupling unit was flat (i only had the other one where its not flat)!! So, ive never seen a flat coupling unit in my plumbers, any ideas? im going to buy a few of them, donut washers etc.
cheers
