Anyone else experienced problems with the above used on sealed central heating systems? been to a couple of properties now where single barrier pipe was used on sealed systems without leaks where pipe have clogged up with magnatite. I have been told by a jg rep that the old pipe (plastic) was a single skin pipe that was permiable to air and thus speeding up the corrosion process? or is this just a load of rubbish? hoping someone else may have seen this?

I know that, but the person who installed these systems didnt 🙂 anyway of sorting it out without a re pipe or is it a case of regular maintenance and flushing to keep the system clean?

Barrier pipe has a sandwiched layer of resin to make it non-permiable.
Ideally standard pipe should be ripped out as this is permeable and does draw in air. A good flush out and a load of inhibitor will slow down the corrosion process.
