I fitted this fire a month back now, the tenant has the fire on constantly, its probably on more than 8 hours a day, the coals are in the right place and you cant alter the aeration setting.

I'm going to go back and check pressures and gas rate it but if they check out OK, I guess I'll ring valor ? as this cant be right..
chimneys fine and they have a working carbon monoxide alarm

I just get the feeling this fire isn't supposed to be used as much as it does, haven't had this problem before and it'll be the last one i buy if i can help it..

That certainly looks iffy.
If you've done all your checks then phone manufacturer.

Tried ringing valor. Couldn't get through. Gas rated at 5.1kw. The label says 6kw.

Working pressure is 21.5mb. But the coals are totally in the wrong place. The tenants had them off and re fitted them in the wrong place. She is calling me everything under the sun. I don't get paid enough for this.


Not sure what to do once I've moved the coals as she will continue to complain. As she has never liked the fire from day one.
