dear all, i am going to install a boliler in a flat, it is 2nd floor which is top floor, however it looks i have to use a vertical flue because the cupboard is in the middle of the flat, shall i find a roofer to help me? or hire a scaffolding? never worked on high level before, any suggestions? cheers,

It is pretty easy to do but if you have never worked on a roof before get a roofer in to do it for your own safety.
It will cost you £100 - £140.

I always use a roofer as well, I don't like working on roofs at all.

On a 2nd floor flat I would get a roofer to do it.

I always do my own vertical flues unless I think it is not safe to do so.
if you've never done one before, fit the flue as far as you can go, push a tile up where you want to terminate, roofer fits v/flue and you can fit to it clips etc before he leaves.
