Feel sorry for the installer fitting that one lol

They were called Help link couple years ago but the directors closed that company and started BOXT ,2000 k tho for a not straight forward swap , work your back end off on that one lol

The problem is that its estimated over the web. If things aren't as described by the customer then they start banging on the extra charges.

Quick Google shows that Homeserve bought out Helplink.

Prior to that 2 Directors, including 1 of the founding directors left Homeserve and you guessed it, the 2 plus another ex Helplink started BOXT in a building next to Helplink Head Office in Leeds.

This has been done so many times does us soletraders no favours as we can't compete but it is what it is, I have been offered work by 2 others companies recently their installation rates made me smile hang in there bud it will be short lived its a profit making exercise, the customer is gambling that they are going to get a good installer often corners are cut and further down the line there will be problems 😒 and although they offer a 10 year warranty I can see problems if installs have been rushed which they will be to get the work completed on a day .
