Serviced boiler tonight.

This is the flue outside. It meets the 300 to the window to the mm pretty much.

This rubber collar is supposed to be on the outside of the wall. It's inside the wall.

fga readings were fine after I had to adjust co/co2 as per mi's.

Couldn't TT as where the test screw screws in at meter it was leaking, looks like previous engineer has had a good go with grips and wound the screw housing out a little bit. Didn't want to tighten it myself in case I made it worse.

Turned off, transco called. Will go back and TT once res calls to say done.

The utility room door opens outward towards the flue. I did check.

There is an o/s tap fitted lower on the same wall as where flue exits. Door hits tap before it can hit flue. 😀

AR for me mate. I would make sure that they just have not screwed and taped the join on the telescopic in the wall. Try pulling it back out again and see if that moves. Also if you have 300mm door to centre of flue that is not good enough. I am sure that it is supposed to be 300mm from door to edge of outer flue.

I did give the flue a firm pull - not too much but enough to get a feel and it didn't budge. It is possible if the flue was protruding far enough in the first place and the wind has caught the door and its hit the flue it could have pushed it in but still needs to be checked.

Its 300mm edge to edge so that's OK then.

Was just checking the distances as looked tight.

Had text saying transco have been and checked sorted it.

Said no need for me to go back. Sent text back saying flue needs sorting. She said she will speak to husband.

Don't think I'll be hearing back.

All noted on Paperwork.
