I mentioned ages ago that the clear black drop down cover was a pain, customers dont like numbers and flashing lights, seems they listened as the white one means I dont get phone calls anymore🙂

That's what I said, as the jig and lower case is pants ( flimsy design )

just be craeful taking the main front cover off, I have come across a few with the lugs snapped off by folks who are a bit ham fisted.

strip out a vaillant case, stick an intergas in it with central flue. put every thing in a package with one standard horizontal flue kit @one £ price. boiler price only varies on heat output!
give a choice of 4 case colours as a niche.
sell for £900 all in for the best boiler on the market.
now i will only fit that one boiler!!
lifes simple!!

On the rf the boiler will pair with any current honeywell rf stat you just dont buy the honeywell kit with a receiver as the receiver is already integrated to the board.

Hi Tim

My understanding is that if you buy the Eco-RF, you don't need to buy any control. The receiver is built onto the board as you describe, but the user module (other half of the RF stat) is also included with the boiler. Thats the best part of £100 worth of free control, and given the price differentials between Eco-RF and the HRE model, it means that your extra 3 years of warranty (10 instead of 7) has only cost you about £30.

Obviously that only works if you were planning to use a high-end stat, like a Honeywell. If you would have used a cheaper stat, then the saving is correspondingly less. However, in my admittedly limited experience so far, when I say "it comes with a free RF stat" people look at me a bit cynically, until I tell them its a Honeywell, then they take it a bit more seriously.

Ray, your the only one supply it with the Honeywell rf stat, the boiler I won came direct from intergas and no stat
They also said its something they may consider in the future

Yes I was aware that the stat came with (at least the eco rf's williams is selling) my point is the inbuilt receiver aparrently works with all the curent honeywell wireless stats programable, and standard digital etc. Just if you are buying an alternative stat to use with the boiler dont buy the usual kit but request the standalone wireless stat as you wont require the receiver ithink its the honeywell model codes with the s are the stat eithout the receiver.

Intergas claim that the boilers are independently tested. The hre is 87% in hw mode and 92% in ch and they showed this at the training

ATAG compact boilers are the most energy efficient in Europe and can significantly reduce your energy bills by up to £570 a year*

Interestingly intergas did say if I recall correctly the only other manufacturer that came clise to the same efficiencies were Atag.

Whoever of the two is in fact more efficient the point is they are both significantly more efficient than worcester bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, viessmann, baxi, Ariston, etc.

They told me the same but when I looked at the SAP scores, intergas didn't even show up on the first page.

Solidly built boiler marred by indecipherable controls and dated looks, which unfortunately do matter.

Here are some screen shots I took of the sap info for an intergas eco rf 30 and also an atag ic28 and an intergas hre 28/24 makes for an interesting comparison. . uploadfromtaptalk1440192607312.pnguploadfromtaptalk1440192615229.png
