Good morning to you all.
Went to a job yesterday for a landlord customer of mine and found that there's no data at all on the gas fire or the boiler.
Don't know what make/model the fire is but it's a LFE type with a brass surround. The boiler is a Potterton Suprima that's years old, and the flue is too close to the canopy outside.

Questions:
- what would you guys do about the lack of data? I can get the GC number for the boiler from a downloaded manual I suppose, but I still won't have a serial number.
- How do I log the gas fire into the inspection/service records (I use the GE online software)
- How would you classify the flue problem? I think that it's AR and they need to move the end of the canopy to get 300mm - see the photo
