What a day!! :(

Been absolutely pee'd off since 9:30 this morning, customer wanted a shower tray secured on floorboards, told them 5 times inc new employer that i should cut boards around tray and fit new marine ply at least 18mm thick under tray and strut and support corners on joists alot better before tray gets glued down

Customer didnt want this and wanted it straight on boards, after a arguement i did it, after 20hours of fitting, it now bounces (floor fault), told him that its the floors fault and should of gone with my advice, he now said HE DIDNT mention that he thought best on floorboards and wants it done right (my way)

Carefully take up tray (took me a hour since it was stuck down really well) got in another massive argument, slagging me off saying im rough for putting it down when i knew i was doing it wrong.

Like wtf?!!!

Went to 2 services then finished a boiler job inc 4 rads with decorators trying to crack banter with me. Ive been in a absolute stinking mood, felt like wrapping it up and giving up on plumbing! Now hit the booze and plan on getting smashed and fat lol sick as!!

Sorry just needed a rant... He even said that ive stuck it down wrong (he said sand cement) whereas i prefer no nails/sticksall. Bearing in mind it was the floor that was in fault NOT adhesive to the floor that was wrong

Lol ap, honest mate, ive been in a absolute bad mood! Havnt been able to go to gym this week due to work and giving blood (gained 2st of muscle to bulk up) just sick of people wanting short cuts and getting taken the p*** out of, when i know that my ways work. Unfortunately when im in 1 of these moods i dont like to be near anyone, luckily my lass is on her xmas work party

Thanks lee, i was so close to this, when he said he denied wanting it on the floorboards i could of literally destroyed him... Ive got a bad temper lately... Just hate people lying and scrimping and scraping on bathrooms when they want the best but take shortcuts!

Hes getting the floor tiled but wants the toilet, basin and free standing bath plumbing in, then once tiler comes, wants it all out and expects it all back in. Said theres no way, as the tiles will screw up the pipes and wastes...

Not taking sides here Koog but I've not read any MI's that state the use of Pinkgrip or similar under a tray is okay.

The guy was an arsehole anyway...you are best off out of it.
