Heads up.....this ain't been realeased yet officially WB CDi Classic and Compact will come with an 8 years parts and labour warranty subject to a Worcester system filter being fitted which will also be covered under the 8 year parts and labour warranty, filters are around £78 inc vat so comparable with magnacleans!

I should add this for Worcester accredited installers only who would normally get a 7 year warranty

I have fitted one Worcester filter to try out for the 7 year warranty and have told them what I think and shall not be fitting any more.

There MI say must be fitted on return.
It's not bi directional which is fine if fitted under boiler but if installed above boiler or in airing cupboard can be a problem.
If installing in a airing cupboard the return in most cases is not accessible unless doing major works.
It splits in the middle to clean.
Looks clumsy.
I can only assume that's the best they could do and only assume other company's own design patents etc.

So in my case as an installer not worth the extra 5 years

Lol adey s cast offs

I agree with Lee I love Worcester boilers but its like running a bmw on 4x4 off road tyres. Ideal for land rovers with the room but no good with a more efficient A standard vehicle. This does need addressing as I've had exactly the same problems.

Thats the thing.....its all well and good having an 8 year warranty but if you cant get the parts or it takes them a week to visit then its worth feck all imo. I will normally fit Viessmann cos i have not been to a viessmann breakdown and when i do i know every bit is accessable and i wont need to dismantle most of the boiler to get to a prv......or replace the expansion vessel.

Has anyone on here had grief with a viessmann?

Whats the gen on intergas cos im hearing good things about them.

put another intergas in on friday, left it on hw only, finishing heating side on monday and readjusting to combi mode oc
