eaves
The eaves are the edges of the roof which overhang the face of a wall and, normally, project beyond the side of a building. The eaves form an overhang to throw water clear of the walls and may be highly decorated as part of an architectural style, such as the Chinese dougong bracket systems.
Guys, I am a bit unsure on this, please give me your thoughts......
I fitted a boiler years ago into a garage which is attached to the house, I used the original flue hole. I cant remember measuring the flue hole in relation to the eaves, at the time there was no soffit.
So the customer rings...
Was at a service today and noticed when checking the flue out side it terminated under the eaves ( in the corner of an L shape on the building so eaves on the building either side of it were above the flue). When working the poc's were going up and hitting off the vented eaves but not going in...
15mm, for outside tap on wall.
Not done this before. Any tips? Warnings?
Or do I just lean into gap (very tight for space,) drill a hole and chuck a pipe through?
Thanks.

They produce an Offset Bend which I take it is used for the top (see link below), but what about the bottom of the bend?: Catalogue - Marley Plumbing &...

Hello all,
On a two story building, can the stack pipe exit the roof near the eaves, or must it exit near the ridge to work effectively?
Any help much appreciated,

Hi. We're building a new storey and half house with timber joists. Is it advisable that all the pipes should be lagged or just those running through the eaves?
thanks
