The bizzies don't need to get involved with a traffic accident unless their assisstance is requested by one of those involved or there's damage to public property - such as a lampost.

One of my mates is an ex copper, did his 30 years and now works for the ambulances on patient transfer. Says that years ago he loved his job but couldn't wait to get out at the end. He said the job was unrecognisable, too much paperwork.
My brother-in-law has just spent a few million on new ambulances (£170,000 each) for the firm he's with. He says the paramedic/ambulance driver courses they run only take a few days and open to anyone. I didn't realise the ambulance service was outsourced/private.
Only had a short conversation with him about it so not clear with the full details.
I don't really know all the ins and outs, but he's employed by the same company that employ the paramedics. He says that they get all the dross as the outsourced/private companies do all the good runs. But he enjoys it.
He's only contracted for 30 hours a week to top up his police pension, but often works 40 to 50 hours a week.
We recommend City Plumbing Supplies, BES, and Plumbing Superstore for all plumbing supplies.
