Just search for your local rescue centres, their not all old, sis has had 2 for last 8yrs and still going strong, cant wait til the 21st to see all 3 of em, the boys make me smile with their antics. If one has the armchair then the other will go to the patio doors asking to go out then double back to the armchair once it is vacated. Anyone else got 2 that play mind games with each other?

worst part of owning a dog, every time i say thats it and then give in. Dogs are so good for children in so many ways and the joy of a youngster getting a puppy will help

So sorry to here this. We've been through it many times and it never gets easier. The last act of love for your dog is to ease his or her suffering.

i think your little one will cope better than you, don't worry about him , he will be ok.
just make sure you will cope, if he sees you upset , he will be.
