Found a metal treasure chest in the loft of a friends new house. Thought my look was in.

Honestly I was up in the loft and just wished I hadn't opened that chest. Had to look through the suitcases up there for her then. Was worried id find a body or something.

Yet another one guys n girls. Was there 4 weeks back in a fourth floor flat, the sani kept running on all the time so the customer was switching off electrics. I needed to get the sani out but the incoming stop tap was seized solid. Asked for an isolation valve to be fitted and went back today to find this.

Whilst again, not looking too horrendous, the hep PRV pipework and 12 + meters of 15 mm gas pipe feeding this glow worm 24cxi combi is pretty shocking. .

I was really wanting to do a gas test at the inlet to the gas valve to see what the PD was from the meter, i was only there to top up the pressure though.
I'll defo be flagging it up to the Property management place though 🙂

Saw this while walking the dogs.
No way ! Under window then up and over ..... Think that's a tad over spec on length
Took this on passing this house, Could be wrong but im pretty sure that is a boiler flue sticking out of a garage door. Then again it could be a generator echaust or something but still why fitvto an up and over door? At least it has a guard.

Yeh builders did this. It's a Worcester r40 combi he. Insides a melted mess and flue silencer split . Was running with case of for two yes two weeks.
Notice the flue components are m&g ..... Flue extension is from the logic range .......
Fga sky high and the vertical flue was 450 from openable window! Building control any one??
Strange when I asked for builders details he couldn't find them. How many times do you riddor the home owner who won't provide the details of installer. How long will this go on until HSE actually pull fingers out....... What's that capita are going to be running 55% of the HSE by end if next year..... Never in the world!

1000 reasons not to buy a house off of a builder.
Bbu closure plate, copex only 1m into flue closure plate melted and appliance spilling so ID.
CH pipework mixture of one pipe, micro-bore
and twin pipe. Rads don't work and hot water brown as it's primatic constantly loosing bubble.

Ye, it was. I was talking about it with my assessor when I did my acs a few weeks ago. They bent it over and soldered it's. Obviously not acceptable now though.
