VIESSMANN vitodens 200

Hi.
In the shower section, someone recommended a Viessmann boiler. I said it was out of my budget. I have just been offered a VIESSMANN vitodens 200 28kw boiler. Brand new from a bankrupt stock dealer. This is still on a pallet wrapped up. The price is £650 but I dont know if it includes flue and clock. Is it a good price if it doesnt? Looks like it to my untrained eye. This is going in a standard size 3 bed bungalow and from doing research would be fine for my needs.
Any comments advice would be appreciated.

I don't fit Viessman, but a quick google shows them around the 1k mark inc VAT. You will need a standard flue at around £75 inc and also a RF stat around £95. So in total you are looking at around £820 all in.

I would consider looking as a Remeha 35c or a Baxi Duotec for around the same money.

This a very advanced and complex boiler but one of the best you can buy

He's got two. Spoke to my plumber and he recommended not having one. Talked about if their stolen, when you register it there could be problems. Does seem a good buy though. Not sure what to do at the mo.

whos going to warranty it, the merchant ? what if its damaged, not working, your stuck with it. remember nothing is for free, if it looks to good to be true it is!!! YOUR BUYING SOMETHING YOULL BE RELYING ON, LEAVE THE BANKRUPT STOCK AND INTERNET DEALS ALONE GO TO A REPUTABLE MERCHANT . OOPS HIT CAPS LOCK, BUT IT DOES MAKE AN IMPORTANT POINT

have to check that you can get your garentee - which means a proper reciept as well.

If I remember rightly these boilers are worth approx £1100. Get a viessmann installer to fit it, and you get a 5 year warrenty as well!

Was going to go see the guy today. I thought if he could prove he bought them from a liquidator, the Viessmann guarantee might still be available when it was fitted and registered. I planned to speak to Viessmann also to get any information they maight have.

If its a 26kw combi or system boiler it will give 26kw, the only 200 series boiler that states 2 out puts is a 222f, this boiler comes in 19 ,26 and 35kw flavours, the 26kw boiler gives 26kw to heating and 30k to hot water for some reason.

If the boiler in question is a 222f and isnt stolen then rip his hand off, they are over 2 grand new and a very special piece of kit.
