I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Cor I've wrestled with a few cc cistern overflow's in my lifetime - was great when England approved internal overflows (warning pipes) - on the other hand how much water is wasted down the pan every year....??

I think people tend to get them fixed quicker with the internal overflows.

But it's one of those jobs where its dripped for 4 months but it's an emergency at 4.00 on a friday afternoon.

The floors the best bit, nearly a full tile, 65mm, from one side to the other. I said I could level it, but again didn't want to pay.

Yep. Cannot keep up at the minute. I am currently booked until the end of September and still have about 55 jobs to book in .

It’s a pipe reaming tool (possibly bahco?) I have a monument one, although sometimes the blade falls out of the end.

Nice one KOP, yes all those units add up - they could’ve had a basin/ped and bog in a box for less than £100 - but that’s probably what you chucked out in the first place.
As long as they cough up that’s the main thing.

Had similar issues with prefabs - absolute nightmare to drill through, even worse when trying to clip stuff 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I give up with the core, struggled to get a pilot hole through but got it through, then come back through from outside. But then couldn't get my pipe through. Put the sledgehammer through the half stone in temper.

Fitted a Ideal Vouge 26 gen2 in a cottage nice bit of kit all worked out well, the client only had a gas fired water heater , a couple of Baxi Brazilla heaters, that's were over 20 years old plan is to add more radiators at a later date so fitted one below in the hallway to get him up and running cheers kop.
