Bristol University's Radio Station (Burst) is a radio station run by students of the University of Bristol, UK. Its studios are located within the University of Bristol Students’ Union building and it broadcasts online. We have found one brown coloured pipe made out of rubber which in essence look like a thick rubber hose at circa 15mm (although it is likely to be imperial) carrying hot water to a bathroom on the other side of the house. I would guess the pipe was installed some 20 years+ ago and is possibly a...

Has anyone had any trouble with flexible hose connections? I have fitted some to a bathtap as the bath was tight to a wall, and after a year the hot water connector burst. I replaced this with another (longer) flexihose in case the first hose was stretched and under pressure, now 6 months later...
.....I've seen too many of them burst especially the cheap imported ones to place any confidence in them at all. One was on the counter in PTS today being returned as it had burst and had a quarter inch gash down the middle of it. I've seen perfectly installed ones with no kinks, twists or...

I had a house built three years ago and 9 months ago a flexible hose in my sons ensuite split. The hose that split was the flexible from the copper feed to the cistern. We have a pressurised cistern. Fortunately we were in bed and turned the mains off before we had too much damage. We assumed we...

Hi there
We have had a burst pipe in the loft resulting in the whole house being soaked. The heating and electrics are back on and the walls are drying out (visibly) except for a particular wall which is dripping wet. It is away from where the radiators are so I am hoping it is not a leaking...
