Get yourself another engineer Ron!
That's what I thought once I walked in and seen the job. I didn't say much because I am looking ahead for my own business. I don't want make him realise what should have been done differently because I will not use him again. I will take another guy and will try again.

Thanks for advise thumbs up

You would be better off walking into a local merchants and asking a few guys for cards and going from there.

That's a good advise mate. Just thought the same few days ago but most of the time I have the TSG, BSW and other big companies people going there. No stress harvest, I will find the right person soon. I am not in rush and do not take anymore jobs on for this year. I am flat out and happy to see the end. Going away again before Christmas and will be back new year ...

Charged you £680?

Labour only?

Ripped off!

Looks like a 5 hour job.

13a plug should be into unswitched socket only.

My first experience with Worcester bosch and last forever.

They just arrived today at 12 and the tenant didn't have any parking permits. However, tenant tried calling the council for parking the van for him online. Van reg got rejected.

He said if he can't get parking permits he will drive away. I offered him either to look after the van or pay for his parking on display just 100yards from the door. He said no and drove off.

I phoned Worcester they are telling me is there policy to get parking permits. We are responsible for their **** parking. After telling her I offered him to pay on display just 100 years away she said he cannot park far away due to carrying heavy load. I said, what heavy load he is replacing a silly pump and by the way the boiler is under 5 years warranty and you be responsible for making customers happy.

She went like, he cannot park so far away, I was like ok not to worry I can drive him from his parking spot to the property and make things easier. She said you don't need to. I was like, that's fine I want to help as the customer hasn't got **** hot water and heating for the last 2 days. They didn't care gave me another appoint next week Monday ... But only if I can organise a parking permit.

First and last time I will ever use these Bast***** again. Cheeky, rude, impolite, ....

I am so fully loaded of bad energy because of these ****

thats standard and in big letters on there website (repair) no private parking no visit

and its on every boiler t and c's
My first time as said. I am not reg and therefore not dealing with them day in day out. But isn't nice even though I offered solutions. Last time for me

Jobsworth, 9-4pm red tape obeying, uniform wearing feet up having tea at 4:30pm to33ers!

I slogged a 1700 stone tray from the roadside, up a long private drive today, into the house, up the winding stairs and into position on my own today, god just get it done..

probably nothing wrong with the pump they often stick and need freeing off normally caused by being tested on the production line a little water remaining in there erp ones are worse in my opion , certainly not looked after you or your customer Ronny

I stopped using Worcester donkeys years ago for the customer service I received with a warranty job. I ended up doing the job for them after 4 visits.

Unimpressed !
Still, I smile when I think how many Worcester Boilers I haven't bought since.
I know our contribution to Worcester sales figures is probably very insignificant but there you go

Unfortunately the engineer I hired couldn't free the pump. He took the big screw at the front off and tried moving the inner part. I suggested to remove the pump head and try to move the pump.
However, I tried making it easier for him and offered parking on display which I would have paid. Long story short they'll will come next Monday :/ had to offer mythe tenants to take a shower at my place if they need warm water.

Fm Ronny theres sevice and then theres going over board mate he should have taken the head off freed it off , pure laziness on your contractors part , the screw on the front will vent the pump thats about it on erp , cheers kop

Hi lads I can't urgently on side waiting for Worcester Bosch to come and to assess the job. However, I had a oder look and it seems like this is a no go with the flue. The collar at the Bottom isn't fixed properly the flue looks like not even fitted properly, not cemented at all

What's your thoughts on that?

Wouldn't worrie about the space around the flue is externally it's sealed up

Regarding the top plate as Scott says normally 3 screws which it looks like they've lost as they have used normal wood screws

That's shocking, get the installer back. A screw is missing from securing the flue down. In fact all 3 are missing and two have been replaced with normal screws. Classed as immediately dangerous in the gas regs.
